| Trek to Treasure Island - August 14, 2010 |
Just north of Lock & Dam No. 3 on the
western bank of the Mississippi River lies the Treasure Island Resort
& Casino marina. We reserve a
block of slips at the marina and WYC members take their boats or ride
with others for an overnight visit. The trip normally
takes from four to eight hours, depending on the wait time at the lock
and the speed of the boat. Some WYC members also travel by car to join in the fun.
